How It All Began

My first start with crocheting was years ago when I was a Stay-at-Home mom and I just wanted to learn a new hobby.  My mom used to crochet beautiful baby blankets for her friends daughters when they were expecting and so I asked her if she would teach me to how to crochet.

I first started off with a baby bootie pattern because it seemed to be the simplest and quickest thing to make.  I figured at least if I didn’t like crocheting, then I wouldn’t have a big huge baby blanket to finish but little baby booties well, I could do that! So I learned how to make the cutest pink baby booties and I had so much fun making them, I guess you can say I  was “hooked” into this crocheting thing!  So after my first creation, I just continued making them and adding new and different ideas to each one.  I also loved all the beautiful colors of yarn to choose from.  I was having so much fun with my “new hobby” that I thought, wouldn’t it be great to have my own website and offer these baby booties for other new moms because I really love making them so much.  So that’s exactly what I did and I started get many customers mainly from referrals of people that have bought from me before.

I especially loved getting special orders and creating a pair of baby booties making them one-of-a-kind.   I then began to add many other handmade baby items such as beautiful handmade knitted baby hats and baby sweaters along with thumbless baby mittens, dresses, gowns, baby blankets.  All of these made wonderful one-of-a-kind gifts that would be special keepsakes for years to come.
I have since then added many products to my online kids and baby gift store.  While I still occaisionaly make the handmade crocheted gifts for close and family, I wanted to offer lots of other products and make it convenient to have everything in one place so that this could be a one stop shop for babies and kids.

I now mostly carry baby furniture such as cribs and changing tables along with kids bedroom furniture sets.

I also offer a wide selection of baby bedding and kids bedding in many styles and themes along with coordinating room decor, so moms and dads can create that beautiful nursery or kids bedroom.  And we didn’t forget the playroom!  We also carry great playroom furniture and playroom toys and accessories so your kids can play hard, laugh and learn in a special playroom created with them in mind.  We even have lot’s of personalized accessories to make it “extra special”.
I’ve always enjoyed decorating my kids bedrooms when they were younger and I find it very rewarding and  a lot of fun when I can help parents achieve their goal of creating a safe and comfortable envoironment for their children to sleep, play in and love for years to come.
